Verbotene liebe (còn được gọi là Forbidden Love "Tình yêu bị cấm", thường viết tắt là VL) là bộ phim truyền hình dài tập của Đức. Phim được phát sóng lần đầu tiên năm 1995 trên đài Das Erste. Đề tài của phim chủ yếu xoay quanh những vấn đề xã hội phức tạp như: nghiện ngập, giết người, tự tử, ngoại tình, incest (anh chị em yêu nhau), đồng tính...

Nội dung chính của phim là câu chuyện tình yêu ngang trái của 2 anh em nhà Brandner, kéo dài hơn 500 tập phim. Sau đó cốt chuyện được thay đổi cùng sự xuất hiện của nhiều nhân vật khác.

Năm 2008, bộ phim thu hút sự chú ý của khán giả toàn cầu thông qua mạng Youtube với câu chuyện tình yêu của 2 chàng trai Christian va Oliver.



Tóm tắt phim:
Christian là em trai của Gergor Mann, phải ngồi tù thay cho bố. Sau khi ra khỏi tù, Chris quay về Düsseldorf và bắt đầu cuộc sống mới với anh trai của mình. Nico và người bạn thân Coco đều phải lòng Christian, nhưng Chris không hề biết tình cảm của Coco nên anh nhận lời yêu Nico. Khi Chris phải quay lại nhà tù do tấn công sếp của Nico. Nico không biết phải làm gì và nhờ Coco giúp đỡ. Từ đó Coco viết thư cho Christian an ủi anh những ngày ở trong tù, Chris thì nghĩ rằng những bức thư này do Nico viết. Sau khi được trả tự do, Christian mới biết là Coco chính là người viết thư cho anh, Coco cũng không thể giấu diếm tình cảm của mình nữa  và đã thổ lộ với Christian. Christian lúc này cũng bắt đầu có tình cảm với Coco, anh chia tay với Nico để đến với Coco.

Khi Oliver Sabel trở lại Düsseldorf, Christin và Coco là những người bạn đầu tiên của anh. Chris và Olli va chạm khi Chris phát hiện Olli là người đồng tính. Sau đó 2 người hòa giải và là bạn, nhưng khi Christian và Coco cãi nhau, Olli an ủi Coco và 2 người hôn nhau. Chuyện vỡ lở, Christian buộc tội Olli là muốn chia rẽ anh và Coco. Olli lúc này bắt đầu có tình cảm với Christian, không biết phải làm sao khi Christian bắt anh phải giải thích lí do anh hôn Coco, nên đã hôn Christian... :)
